Chamomile is a charming flower (note the picture), A calming, tasty tea, a helpful, soothing toner, a relaxing bath, a de-puffing eye mask… multi use and sweetly humble.
It’s very easy to brew a strong cup of chamomile tea and fill a small spray bottle which can be spritzed on the face at any time for a lovely refresher. Or soak a cotton ball and wipe it across your face as a toner (You can add a bit of apple cider vinegar to the toner). Or soak two cotton balls and lay them on your ‘eye bags’ and dark circles for a few minutes. You can also use the tea for a final hair rinse to make your hair soft and shiny.
I adapted this delicious recipe from one found on Green Kitchen Stories:
Slice pieces of fresh Ginger and fresh Turmeric and simmer them in water for 10 minutes . Then add Chamomile and simmer for another 10 minutes. Strain and add Cinnamon, Honey, and hot Almond milk. This is a healthy, tasty tonic which will aid in a good nights sleep as well as ward off any looming illness!
